Q: Can I run a 380V three-phase winch using a 220V single-phase power supply?
A: Standard 380V motors cannot be directly plugged into a 220V outlet. If you only have 220V single-phase power, you will need a Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) or phase converter. Alternatively, we highly recommend choosing our standard 220V Electric Winch models instead.
Q: What is the main structural advantage of a 380V motor over a 220V motor?
A: Three-phase motors don’t require start/run capacitors, which are common failure points in single-phase motors. They offer higher starting torque, better electrical efficiency, and are physically more robust for continuous load handling.
Q: Do these winches come with customized wire rope lengths?
A: Yes. We can customize the drum and supply high-strength steel wire ropes up to 100 meters, 200 meters, or even longer depending on your project requirements.
